AAMU Alum Becomes Judge

An avid Bulldog fan and lover of 鈥榓ll things AAMU鈥� has achieved yet another honor
in 蜜桃视频鈥檚 major port city.
Freddie Demetrius Stokes (above, center) has become a municipal court judge for the City of Mobile.
Stokes said the moment was made even more special by the fact that he was sworn in by his 鈥渇riend and mentor, 蜜桃视频 Supreme Court Justice Sarah Stewart,鈥� along with his 鈥淜appa鈥� brother, Atty. James Brandyburg.
Last summer, Stokes was listed among Mobile鈥檚 鈥�40 Under 40,鈥� a coveted program designed to recognize 40 of the top individuals younger than age 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the Bay area community.
